Sovereign Sensors
AuthorHistorical
My UCL master's dissertation investigated how decentralized technologies could govern networked sensors with cryptographic identities, proposing machine-verified treaty compliance through smart contracts and testing the idea in an agent-based simulation.
Purpose
Arms-control agreements depend on verification each side can trust. This dissertation asked whether cryptographically identified sensors and smart contracts could make treaty compliance machine-verifiable.
Approach
A master's dissertation combining a protocol design with an agent-based simulation of sensors writing signed observations to a shared ledger.
